The studio was founded by Brianna LeGate, who has called the Highlands area home for the past five years. Surrounded daily by the natural beauty of the mountains and lakes, Brianna developed a deep appreciation for interiors that feel calm, grounded, and connected to their surroundings.

The Laurel Design Studio began after the renovation of a Lake Burton home, where Brianna’s love for design naturally evolved into helping friends and neighbors bring their own spaces to life. What started as personal projects quickly grew into a studio focused on creating homes that balance beauty, comfort, and timeless style.

Brianna lives in Highlands with her husband and two young daughters, and draws inspiration from family life, nature, and the quiet elegance of the region she calls home.
